Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (AKDOTPF)
Seward Highway: Dimond Blvd. to Dowling Rd. Reconstruction, Phase I

Frontier Surveys provided construction surveying support for this project, which involved building a concrete girder bridge supported by concrete MSE wall, a roundabout connecting 76th and Lore under the bridge, Homer Dr. and Brayton Dr. access road improvements and concrete box culvert placement connecting North & South Little Campbell Creek. The job involved building 3D machine control model surfaces for finished grade, 30,000 lineal feet of curb and gutter lay-out and modeling, utilities, unclassified excavation, and other construction elements. Frontier Surveys worked hand-in-hand with AKDOT to ensure material volumes were surveyed correctly for each pay estimate to the contractor.
